Round-up for Charity at B&B Pet Stop
Over $250,000 donated to LOCAL charities since March 2007
Since March 2007, B&B Pet Stop has been encouraging customers to “round up” to the next dollar and make a donation to a local charity. The designated charity changes each month and is always a LOCAL group helping LOCAL people.
There are some charities that are special to the Trufant Family and have permanent spots each year:
Mobile Arts Council (Following the example of their late mother, “J” Trufant, the family has always been enthusiastic supporters of historic preservation and the arts in Mobile)
Camp Rap a Hope (a summer camp for kids with cancer)
And these established local pet rescue groups:
Mobile Animal Shelter
Mobile SPCA
Animal Rescue Foundation
Chaos + Critters Exotic Animal Rescue
Save a Stray
Each December, we draw names from a hat to fill in the other months. Organizations may apply any time before December 15th to be considered for inclusion the following year. To apply, simply complete the form.
Only LOCAL non-profit organizations helping LOCAL people may apply for participation.
We require certain information in order to evaluate any donation request and ONLY accept requests via our online form. Make sure that ALL questions are answered. Incomplete requests with missing criteria will not be considered. (Sorry, no religious or political groups, please.)
Donation requests that meet our guidelines may be denied based on funding availability.
