We display our saltwater fish and invertebrates in

6 state-of-the-art 240-gallon acrylic systems and

4 100-gallon acrylic systems - over 2000 gallons!

The water in our systems continuously passes through

ultra-violet sterilizers and protein skimmers for the

highest water quality and healthiest livestock.

We've got a live rock tank that allows customers to view the rock from all sides -

so they get an idea how it will look in their own tank.

The department also features a 180 gallon large fish tank for specimens too big for the systems.

Explore the possibilities of a reef tank!

The 240 gallon display reef is a favorite destination for many of our customers.

Our newest addition to our saltwater department is our coral system.  It features eight 150 watt 10K HQI metall halide bulbs, and eight 96 watt actinic compact fluorescent bulbs.  The systems also includes a "moonlight" phase.  A relatively new concept the lunar Blue-Moon-Glo LED (470nm) creates rhythmic glitter and shimmering effects.  It's special luminance promotes lunar spawning cycles in corals and reef life.

This system is run by a 3600 gph Mag Drive pump and filtered by a protein skimmer (Kent Nautilus TE) and a "refugium".  A refugium is a separate tank connected to the display tank.  Our refugium holds plants, live sand, and acts as a biological filter.  Here the process of nitrification takes place as well as some denitrification.  Refugiums are also great holding tanks for new fish.  Many European setups utilize the refugium rather than the main tank for heaters, protein skimmers, touchier corals, live rock and algae.

Visit often! We get weekly shipments (sometimes even twice a week) from all over the world.

Need a water change?  We have Reverse Osmosis water available for sale.  Simply put R/O water is water that has been stripped of all nutrients.  Our water goes through four filter stages.  First stage is the particulate stage that filters out solids.  Second is the carbon stage that filters out chemicals.   Third is the R/O unit that forces water through a permeable membrane.   The fourth and final stage is a dionizing chamber.  Our water is really just hydrogen and oxygen molecules deionizine.

Why is this better?  Tap water ususally contains unwanted nutrients such as phosphates and silicates which are food for different types of algae.   Not only is algae unsightly, but it also chokes and kills corals.

We offer R/O water two ways, regular and with salt.  Because it's so pure we do not recommend R/O water for use in freshwater aquariums except as "top-off water" (water added back to a tank due to evaporation).  A product such as Kent Marine's R/O Right can be added to R/O water so it can be used with freshwater fish.   This product contains the necessary electrolytes and nutrients needed by freshwater fish.  We use Kent Marine Salt Mix in our salt R/O water.  This mix adds back all that your saltwater fish and reef aquariums need, in the correct concentrations.  Come by for a fill-up today!
