B&B Pet Stop presents:  “The 10% Event:  Shopping to Help Others”

 

 

One Saturday per month, B&B Pet Stop will donate 10% of the day’s sales to 8 LOCAL organizations.  The “10% Event” is a wonderful way to help 8 local groups raise money while giving B&B Pet Stop a chance to put their best foot forward to the people who support each organization.    

 

The 10% Event is win-win-win:  Each organization will get more money to help serve the community, the person giving the donation through B&B Pet Stop gets to feel good about supporting that cause, and we get a chance to meet new members of our community. 

 

Participating groups advertise the event to their own members, fans, and friends; encouraging them to come in and shop at B&B Pet Stop on the big day.  When they do, they will designate their favorite participating non-profit group as the one they want their 10% to go to. 

 

We’ve tried to foster a bit of healthy competition between the groups:  The 2 groups raising the MOST MONEY for themselves + the 2 groups with the MOST FRIENDS coming in to shop will automatically get a spot in the following month’s “10% Event”.   The rest go back into the hat for the next event. 

 

 

We invite LOCAL non-profit organizations helping LOCAL people to apply for participation.

§         The mission statement of the organization
